Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Mega Coffee Mongolia collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain — your trust matters more than legal jargon.

Information we collect

We collect the information you give us and the information created when you use Mega Coffee, including:

  • Account details — your name, phone number and email address, and any sign-in identifiers from Google, Apple or Facebook if you choose social login.
  • Orders and loyalty — the drinks and food you order, the store you pick them up from, your stamp and points balance, and rewards you redeem.
  • Payments — transactions are processed by our payment partners (QPay, SocialPay, StorePay). We receive a confirmation and the last digits of the instrument, never your full card or bank credentials.
  • Device and usage — app version, device model, push-notification tokens, and basic analytics about how you use the app and website.
  • Location — only with your permission, to show the stores nearest you. You can turn this off at any time in your device settings.

How we use your information

We use your information to run Mega Coffee and make it better for you. Specifically, to:

  • process your orders and have them ready at your chosen pickup store;
  • track loyalty stamps and points and let you redeem rewards;
  • send order updates, and — if you opt in — news about events, new drinks and offers;
  • keep your account secure and prevent fraud or abuse;
  • understand what’s popular so we can improve our menu, stores and app.

When we share information

We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate — payment gateways, SMS and push-notification providers, and cloud hosting — and only as far as they need it to do their job. We may also disclose information when required by Mongolian law or to protect the rights and safety of our customers and staff.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and order history for as long as your account is active, and for any further period required by accounting and tax rules. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.

Your choices and rights

You are in control of your information. At any time you can:

  • view and update your profile in the app or on the website;
  • turn marketing messages and push notifications on or off;
  • ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it.

How we protect your data

We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls, and secure storage. No system is ever completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data and to notify you promptly if a serious breach ever affects you.

Children’s privacy

Mega Coffee is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services evolve. When we make material changes we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
